Isolated 20



It's not a pleasant feeling being isolated and segregated from my kind.

Ironically, at the best of times, I shy away from human emotion and connectedness.

More often than not, I detest crowds and panic when placed in that situation.

However, my need to feed on other people’s energy is becoming more apparent and something I now crave.

Although I relish solitude.

I feel myself detaching from the world around me.

I'm starting to cast adrift in an ocean of bleakness.

Human energy is the mooring that keeps one anchored in the harbor of sanity.

I fear if I’m isolated for too long, I will be unable to find my way back to the shore of normality.

Isolated is where I want to be.

However, I want to be isolated on my terms, not by other people’s doing.

Being deliberately and compulsorily isolated determines my free will.

And I loathe such restraints.
